Al Muslimah- Surah Al-Ahzab

AL-MU'MINAH: The Believing Woman

In Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 35, Allah beautifully describes the qualities of those whom He has promised forgiveness and a great reward. The verse speaks to believing men and women alike, and this piece was made in reference to the believing woman.

The ten qualities:

Muslimah: one who submits to Allah

Mu'minah: one who believes with her whole heart

Qānitah: one who is devout and obedient

Sādiqah: one who is truthful in her words and in her ways

Sābirah: one who is patient through every test

Khāshi'ah: one who is humble before her Lord

Mutaṣaddiqah: one who gives in charity

Ṣā'imah: one who fasts

Ḥāfiẓah: one who guards her chastity

Dhākirah: one who remembers Allah often

We created this necklace to carry all ten qualities, a beautiful reminder of the qualities we need to embody, and a call to strive to be someone Allah is pleased with.

And then comes the promise that makes every effort worthwhile:

"Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward."
